That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.

Cthulhu Tattoo is named for the cosmic entity Cthulhu (pronounced "kuh-THOO-loo"), created by writer H. P. Lovecraft. In Lovecraft's strange fiction, Cthulhu was an alien creature who slumbered beneath the Pacific Ocean in a strange city of his own incomprehensible design. He was described as part octopus, part dragon, part hideously deformed human. To those who would call out to him in dreams, he granted both power and madness. Cthulhu and Lovecraft have inspired countless artists, including Cthulhu Tattoo founder Ben Milman.
