I’m Ben Milman, founder and lead artist of Cthulhu Tattoo — a studio born not merely from ink and steel, but from whispers in the deep. For over 30 years, I’ve carried the hum of the tattoo machine like a sacred relic, traveling from coast to coast, tracing stories into skin at conventions and studios across the country.
My art walks the line between black and gray realism, fine-line intricacy, and the shadowed beauty of dark illustrative work—where myth and memory collide. Some say my inspiration comes from long nights when imagination stirs the veil and old gods murmur through the buzzing coil. Maybe they’re right.
Cthulhu Tattoo was summoned from that same madness—a place where artistry meets the unknown, and every piece feels like it was born from another world. Each tattoo I create is both mark and invocation: a story etched in skin, carrying equal parts soul, mystery, and myth.
